I will make a conscious choice to participate in The Unity Plan, Huntsville's Guide to a Sustainable Future. I understand that making a difference and being a good steward of my community can be as easy as making a few changes in my daily routine. I want to join Huntsville's Town Council in caring for and protecting our town, our country, and our world and work toward a better future.
I pledge to get involved in the planning and implementation of The Unity Plan, Huntsville's Guide to a Sustainable Future.
A sustainability plan is being developed for the Town of Huntsville by the community, a multi-stakeholder working group, and Lura Consulting. We are committed to developing a framework outlining how municipal operations and community initiatives can be united in balancing environmental, economic and socio-cultural needs, to enrich the quality of life of present and future generations. Our goal is to involve permanent residents, seasonal residents and visitors in the development of this Plan.
The draft Unity Plan is being developed right now... please provide your comments and feedback to the Community Questionnaire 2 as soon as possible!

What are sustainability plans?
Sustainability plans provide a blueprint for communities who are committed to balancing economic, social, and environmental priorities – each of these issues are connected and important to planning the growth and success of the Town of Huntsville and everyone who lives, works and plays here.
Community-based sustainability plans provide a framework that could include a vision statement, guiding principles, long and short term goals with measurable actions, and an implementation strategy. They are developed for the community by the community. What do you want Huntsville to look like in the future? This is your opportunity to get involved.... and have your voice heard.
